Illustration Friday - Monster
You might recognize this guy as Eddie of Iron Maiden Fame. He was always a favorite album cover character of mine and my immediate thought for this weeks Illustration Friday topic of Monsters.
Excellent Eddie face. I got to see him rock out live with maiden about seven years ago. While I don't consider myself a metal head, I.M. were one of the most spectacular live acts I've ever witnessed.

Looks like artwork from Frank Miller's Sin City graphic novel.
Very dramatic and fierce, which I'm guessing is what the gig was like.
Freeeaky. Nice inking you've got going on there... and I like the comic letterings.
